People in the Lifford-Stranorlar area are being advised to leave their bins out if they have not been already collected today.
Some waste collection companies are encountering delays due to icy roads.
Castlefin Cllr Gary Doherty issued this update for DM Waste customers: “I’ve been in contact with them and they have said that due to the road conditions they have had difficulty getting around everywhere but they have drafted in extra staff and will be collecting throughout the weekend.
“The advice is to leave your bin out and it WILL be collected at some stage over the weekend but they are trying to get around as quickly as possible.”
Panda customers have also been advised to ensure bins are left out today to ensure collection.
