The staff of Mac’s Deli in Letterkenny have paid a touching tribute to former colleague and friend Ronan Roddy.
Ronan’s funeral was held yesterday after he passed away earlier in the week.
He will be dearly missed not least of all by the many customers of Mac’s who grew to love and cherish him as a person over the past 26 years.
Eunan McIntyre and his staff this morning paid their own touching tribute to Ronan as well as posting a collection of pictures of their late friend.
A spokesperson for Mac’s wrote “As we say a heart- breaking farewell to our best friend and colleague Ronan Roddy, we would like to thank everyone who called in to pass on their condolences.
“Ronan worked with us for 26 years and yesterday we said goodbye to our buddy. We will miss his friendship and the pride in which he did his work . He was part of our family and we will miss him dearly.
“Over the last few days we were overwhelmed with how popular Ronan was both in Macs and outside. He had a busy social and sports life. In his young life he achieved so much.
“Below is some photos of Ronan we will cherish for the rest of our days.
“Rest in peace Ronan we will miss you from all past and present at Macs Deli.”
