A woman has told of her shock after an encounter with a low-flying helicopter in Donegal today.
The woman was traveling from Ballybofey to Convoy just before midday when the incident occurred.
The woman said she was shocked when the private helicopter appeared above her car.
The helicopter appeared to be just a couple of hundred feet above the roadway and appeared to be following the white line of the road.
The woman said there was thick fog at the time and it appeared the chopper was using the road markings to navigate.
The woman’s passenger took a brief video of the encounter which lasted from outside Ballybofey to Convoy.
