A man in his 30s is to appear before Letterkenny District Court this morning following an attack on a Garda patrol car in Castlefin in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The car was torched around 4.15am outside the local Garda station.
A follow-up invetsigation saw armed Gardai surround a house in Castelfin.
A man was arrested and was taken to Letterkenny Garda Station where he has been questioned since Saturday night.
