Gardaí searching for quad driver after hit and run collision

Gardaí in Buncrana are searching for a quad driver after a hit-and-run collision last week.

The incident occurred on St Mary’s Road last Thursday 19th January at around 9.50pm.

A car was attempting to turn out of a car park when it was struck by a quad. The quad driver failed to stop and continued travelling in the direction of Cockhill Road.

The car was damaged, but the driver escaped injury.

Gardaí are investigating the incident and appealing for any information in relation to the quad. Members of the public who saw the vehicle or who have dashcam footage from the area are asked to contact Buncrana garda station on +353 74 9320540.
