Investigation underway after CCTV tampered with at Donegal home

Gardaí are investigating an incident at a house in Ballyshannon in which a security system was intentionally damaged.

The ‘unusual case’ involved the cutting of CCTV wires at a private home on the Knader road.

The incident occurred on Monday 17th January at around 7pm.

No burglary was reported following the tampering.

Gardaí are appealing for information as they investigate this act of criminal damage. Anyone who saw anything in the area, or who has dashcam footage from the time, is asked to contact Ballyshannon garda station on +353 71 9858530.
