Naomh Conaill have been awarded the Bank of Ireland Ulster GAA Community Support Award.
The Glenties club were recognised for their outstanding contribution in their communities, seen to go over and above in their normal day-to-day activities to promote outreach, equality, diversity and inclusivity.
One winner was selected from each county in Ulster to win £250 of O’Neill’s Sports equipment vouchers, with Ruairí Óg CLG of Antrim being chosen as the overall winner, receiving an additional £1,000 of O’Neill’s Sports vouchers.
Ulster GAA President, Ciaran McLaughlin, said: “GAA clubs are very often at the centre of all activities in their communities.
“The Bank of Ireland Community Support award is one way of acknowledging and rewarding our clubs and their volunteers for the tremendous role they play in positively influencing the wellbeing of those in their local area.”
