Donegal County Council is set to welcome its newest councillor on 13th February.

On that date, Ramelton native Pauric McGarvey will be formally co-opted to the seat of his uncle, Ian McGarvey, who retired two weeks ago.

The date for Pauric’s co-option was decided by councillors in Lifford today.

Pauric, the Retail Area Manager for the Kernan’s group, will join the council as an Independent public representative.
