One person has been arrested after a stolen car was recovered in Letterkenny last night.
Gardaí from Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit were in action after a vehicle was reported stolen on Tuesday night at 10.30pm.
A few hours later, gardaí located the car and arrested the driver.
A drunk driver was also arrested in a separate incident in the town last night. The driver was caught three times over the legal limit and charged to appear in court.
“Our members will continue to detect and prevent such offences/crimes,” said a garda spokesperson.
