Silver for Amy Timoney at Scottish Championships

Amy Timoney took silver in the 60m hurdles at the Scottish Indoor Championships today in Glasgow.

The Finn Valley AC athlete crossed the line in 9.21 seconds, an unfortunate 0.01s behind the eventual winner in the Emirates Arena.

Timoney’s teammate Katie Louise McMonagle qualified for the 60m sprint semi-final, narrowly missing out on a place in the final, and she also reached the 200m semi-final.

Meanwhile, win the long jump, Lauren Callaghan finished fourth, with a best of 5.84m
