Ballyshannon makeup artist Aoife Boyle has been named as Ireland’s ‘Outstanding Make Up Business of the Year’ 2023.

Aoife is a PRO makeup artist specialising in bridal and events makeup.

She was crowned best makeup business at the 4th Irish Make-Up Awards at The Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport Hotel on Sunday. The awards celebrate those supporting, inspiring and practising the art of makeup in Ireland.

Aoife is on a roll after winning Makeup Specialist of the Year at the Irish Hair and Beauty Awards 2002.

The daughter of Bernie and Brian Boyle, Aoife launched her career after studying at The Galway International School Of Make-up Artistry. She also worked and studied in London and has experience in bridal, Special FX, theatrical and high fashion makeup.

A total of 16 categories were presented at the Irish Make-Up Awards 2023.

The Campaign Manager of The Irish Make-Up Awards 2023 said: “We are honoured to have recognised top make-up artists and salons that in no doubt deliver first-class make-up looks in Ireland. The winners are outstanding specialists with great make-up expertise under their belt and a well-experienced team in the art of make-up.

“We would like to congratulate all finalists and winners for their amazing achievements.”
