Since 1925, Lions International has been a champion in helping to combat vision impairment and blindness.
It is only through the kindness of their eyeglasses donors that they can offer the gift of sight or sound to those in need.
In association with Donegal opticians, Letterkenny Lions Club has launched an appeal for donors of used glasses and sunglasses to deposit them in Specsavers Letterkenny and Dungloe and Anne McLaughlin Letterkenny.
To date they have sent 479 pairs of glasses to Lions International to be used worldwide.
