O’ Hehirs Bakery and Coffee Shops are proud to announce that its Christmas charity initiative has raised in excess of €3,000 for local charities.

Funds raised by O’Hehirs last year will provide support to 14 charities across the West, North West and Midlands of Ireland. The charities were nominated by each of the various O’ Hehirs shops.

The initiative, which ran last December 16th 2022, saw each shop place collection buckets at each of  their tills for a locally nominated charity partner. Customers generously donated on the day and O’ Hehirs then matched the collection amount in each of its 14 shops. Through the support of O’ Hehirs customers and colleagues, the funds raised will provide much needed funds to many in need across  the region.

Commenting on the success of the initiative, Michael O Hehir, noted: “We are delighted have run the initiative and support our local charities. Every one of those charities carry out such important work  to help people in need and this donation wouldn’t be possible without the support of our customers & staff, we would like to thank everyone who supported the fundraising initiative this Christmas.’
