Gardaí are investigating a recent theft in the area of Ballina, Falcarragh.

A digger was on the back of a parked trailer outside a house at that location.

The door lock on the digger was faulty and it is believed that entry was gained to it on the 8th of February at approx. 5am.

A ‘C Scope CLX 4 Cable Avoidance Tool’ was stolen from the digger.

A Garda spokesperson said “We appeal to anybody who has any relevant information in relation to this theft to contact Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060. Should anybody come across a similar type of tool for sale, we ask them to make contact with Gardaí also.”
