Donegal athlete Mark English put down a marker as he stormed to victory in the first heat of the 800 metres at the National Senior Indoor Championships earlier today.
The Finn Valley competitor, fasted over 800 metres this year, won his heat in a time of 1:52.88.
The Letterkenny man (pictured above by Athletics Ireland) will attempt to win the title again tomorrow with the final taking place at 2.35pm at the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena in Dublin’s Blanchardstown.
