Donegal records first win of Ulster Minor League campaign

The Donegal Minors won their first game of the 2023 Ulster Minor Football League vs Tyrone in Convoy this afternoon.

Full Time: Donegal 0-12 Tyrone 0-10 

Donegal were off to a winning start and dominated the first half to secure a lead of 0-7 to 0-4.

Luke Barrett’s U17s were too strong for the visitors and despite Tyrone almost catching their tail at a 0-11 to 0-10 score, Donegal kept their dominance.

Shane Callaghan was the top scorer for the home side.


Donegal scorers: Shane Callaghan 0-4; Conor McCahill 0-3,1f; Jack Hegarty 0-2; John James Sweeney 0-1; Dylan Mulholland and Donnachadh Boyle 0-1, 1f.
