A bitterly cold night is in store for Donegal tonight, Met Eireann warns, with temperatures expected to dip to -2C.
It will be a clear night with lowest temperatures ranging from -2 to 0 degrees.
Donegal County Council will dispatch gritters to all main routes tonight from 8pm and again from 6am Sunday morning.
The forecast for tomorrow says: “Any early frost will clear quickly on Sunday morning to leave a dry day with varying amounts of cloud, with a chance of prolonged spells of sunshine during the evening. Top temperatures of between 5 and 8 degrees in moderate east or southeast winds.”
