Would you like to find out more about the work of the No Barriers Foundation?
Now’s your chance at an open day this Tuesday 28th February 12noon – 2pm at Unit 5, Pinehill Industrial Estate, Mountain Top Letterkenny.
The No Barriers Foundation is an inclusive, affordable health facility equipped with specialist neurological equipment allowing anyone with a disability to train and improve their current level of physical and mental health. The not-for-profit organisation achieved charity status in 2022. This year they launched a new inclusive gym, No Barriers Fitness.
At Tuesday’s open day, you can get a tour of our service and chat with the professional staff about how they might help you or a family member with their rehabilitation. The No Barriers team is made up of specialist physiotherapists and strength and conditioning coaches.
This Open Day is for you if:
- You work with people with disabilities and would like to know how we can assist your clients
- If you or a family member would like support with rehabilitation and physical and mental health.
- You would like to organise a group exercise class for your organisation or your clients
There will be a demonstration of the charity’s state-of-the-art Ekso Bionics exoskeleton, the only publicly available suit of its kind in the North West. Wheelchair users and those with limited mobility can experience a variety of health benefits by walking regularly in the suit.
