Job Description:
This is an exciting role for somebody who wants to be a part of a Letterkenny institution. We are looking for a candidate that have a true passion for all things café culture and excellent customer service. We are seeking somebody who understands and practices the same work ethic that we do with enthusiasm.
Role Purpose:
My responsibility is to manage our small team to deliver a great cafe experience through a focused approach to excellent customer service and consistent standards. We are focused on growing our brand by trusting the team and giving them an environment and support to challenge themselves. This role as a true business leader will have various underlying accountabilities
Responsibilities
• Must have at least two years management experience in a similar busy environment.
• Oversee the day to day operations of the café
• Ensure that all food and beverages are presented immaculately
• Assist financial targets by being involved with portion control, budgeting, waste management, stock control.
• Ordering supplies and over-seeing stock levels
• Staff rosters
• Deal with any complaints or other issues that may arise
• Involvement in staff recruitment, training and supervision.
• Ensure all HACCP and all other health and safety procedures are followed thoroughly.
• Provide excellent customer service and lead by example.
• Deal with problems as they arise, without always consulting higher management. eg faulty equipment.
• Assist in the management of social media pages, and respond to customer queries.
• Manage all time off requests and staff clocking in/out
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
• Must be HACCP trained
• Barista trained
• Available to work Monday – Sunday
• Must show strong leadership and people skills
• Be innovative and have a natural passion and flair for all things food and beverage
• Marketing / financial experience is a bonus
