Appeal after pedestrian hit by van on busy road

Gardaí have launched an information appeal after a pedestrian was struck by a van in Stranorlar last week.

The person was hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries following the incident last Tuesday evening, 21st February.

A green Volkswagen van was involved in the collision on main street near the Drumboe Avenue junction.

Gardaí are now appealing for witness or dashcam footage from the time of the collision at 7pm. Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station: 0749167100
