Gardaí in Donegal are investigating two incidents in relation to cars being keyed while parked in public areas.
The incidents were reported in Letterkenny and Kilmacrennan last week.
The first was on Wednesday 22nd February, when a car was damaged while parked on Dr McGinley Road in Letterkenny between 11.30pm and 10.30am. The car was keyed all along the passenger side from the front to the rear.
A similar case of criminal damage was reported on Sunday night in Kilmacrennan. A woman had parked her car on the roadside, near the health centre, to attend an event in the local hall. She returned to find both sides of the car keyed and substantially damaged. This incident took place between 7.50pm and 10.30pm on Sunday 27th February.
