Gardaí are searching for a suspect after a car was burnt out near a home in Manorcunningham last week.

The car was parked behind a house in the Whitehill area when it was set alight and completely destroyed in the early hours of Friday morning (12.17am on 24th February).

Sergeant Eunan Walsh said this was a “very nasty crime”.

“We are particularly interested in hearing about any sightings of a man in the area at the time who was wearing a navy jacket, beige bottoms, a beanie hat with a face covering.”

Anyone who saw anything suspicious or who has dashcam footage from Thursday night/Friday morning is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 0749167100.
