Community and voluntary groups in Donegal are being encouraged to apply for government grants to help with energy bills.
The Department of Rural and Community Development recently announced funding to support over 130 community and voluntary groups with energy bills. Twenty- seven groups across Donegal have already benefitted under the scheme.
Further tranches of funding are on the way, with the application process remaining open until March 24th. All eligible groups in the voluntary and community sector are invited to apply for support.
Donegal Local Development Company CLG (DLDC) welcomes this announcement and encourages Community and Voluntary Groups in Donegal to apply for the grant before the 24th of March. Community and voluntary organisations help support the most disadvantaged communities in Donegal and this grant will assist them to continue their vital work across the county.
