Donegal Gardai have issued a warning to dog owners after sheep kills in West Donegal in recent days.
A spokesperson revealed that the attacks took place in the Bunbeg area.
It is understood two ewes in lamb were killed as a result of the attack.
If anybody has any information that might assist Gardaí with their enquiries on this speciic incident they are asked to contact Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Donegal Gardai has asked the public to know the whereabouts of their dogs at all times.
“We wish to remind dog owners of the harm their pets can cause if let roam free or unsecured and not kept under effectual control.
“With dog ownership comes responsibility. Secure your dog, have it microchipped and registered with your vet. Dogs should not be allowed to roam.
“Please keep your family pet under effectual control.”
