Pierce Brosnan snaps up his own personalised bottle of Crolly whiskey

You certainly couldn’t accuse James Bond star Pierce Brosnan of not immersing himself in local life in Donegal as he shoots his latest film here.

He may not be attending council meetings and he wasn’t at Finn Park but the Hollywood star certainly appeared to be everywhere else in recent days.

His latest stop-off yesterday was in the Crolly Whiskey Distillery.

Accompanied by his mother May, Brosnan even got to hand bottle his personalised Croithlí Irish Single Malt Whiskey at cask strength.

There wasn’t a martini in sight, shaken or stirred!

The actor has been popping up on social media timelines across Donegal all week after visits to Magee in Donegal Town, Nancy’s Bar in Ardara, Glenveagh Castle and McCafferty’s Bar in Donegal and many other places.

We’re not sure how long Mr Bond is staying in Donegal.

But he’s certainly highlighting all Donegal has to offer ahead of hordes of inquisitive visitors head this way over the summer months.
