A quick thinking west Donegal priest managed to avoid a potential banana skin at a recent Mass.
Popular Fr Pat Ward invited local schoolchildren to the altar at St Columba’s Church, Burtonport, in preparation for their upcoming First Holy Communion.
However, when explaining that God loves ‘every one of us’, one young boy politely interrupted, claiming the man above had one exception to that rule.
“You can’t say that at the altar,” Fr Pat jokingly replied, adding, “Jesus loves Rangers people just as much as he loves everyone else!”
