Motorists travelling through Stranorlar are advised to expect delays this week as waterworks take place.
A single-lane stop-and-go system will be in place from 13th March until 23rd March between 9:15am – 4:30pm. The measures are to facilitate the safe delivery of slit trench works.
Uisce Eireann has confirmed that works are taking place in the Twin Towns along Chapel Lane, Stranorlar Main Street, Navenny Road, Chestnut Road and St Joseph’s Pumping Station.
The works are being carried out by Ward & Burke Water Limited on behalf of Uisce Éireann.
During the works traffic management will be in place however local and emergency access will be maintained at all times.
