Donegal manager Paddy Carr has said his side know they must put in a huge effort if they are to beat Mayo this Sunday and remain with a chance of staying in the National League Division One.

Kevin McStay’s in-form side come to MacCumhaill Park in flying form and will be hoping for two points from the encounter.

The Donegal manager spoke to Charlie Collins agreed that his side were unlucky not to get more from their games against both Armagh and Galway.

However, despite saying that his side are giving it their all on their field, he suggested they must be more clinical in their decision making.

Glenties star Ciaran Thompson is back fit and available but Kilcar star Ryan McHugh is still not an option.

Click on the interview below to hear how Carr plans to stop a talented Mayo side from stalling further to Donegal’s stuttering start to this year’s league campaign.
