The Donegal Older Persons Council executive committee will hold its AGM and Health & Wellbeing Event at the end of the month.
Both events will take place on Tuesday, March 28, from 10am – 2 pm in the Clanree Hotel, Letterkenny.
On the day there will be a number of presentations:
- Advance Care Planning – Clodagh McGuinness Irish Hospice Foundation
- “It’s never too late to get out and surf the waves” – Bill Vaughan Mental Health Ireland
- An Introduction to the Living Well Programme – Helen O’Driscoll Living Well Co-ordinator
There will be information on services for older people in the county and health checks.
This is a free event and all older people aged 55 and over are welcome.

The Donegal Older Persons Council was established in October 2016. It is a sub structure of the Donegal Age Friendly Alliance and its primary purpose is to assist in the implementation of the Age Friendly Strategy.
The Donegal Older Persons Council is made up of older people’s representatives and people who work with older people in different areas.
