The county final of the Garda Schools Quiz took place in the Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny on Tuesday night last.
A large number of schools across the various districts in the county attended on the night.
After a keenly contested quiz which went down to the last few questions, it was Kilmacrennan NS who won out.
The results are as follows:
Kilmacrennan NS (1st place)
Scoil Bríd, Na Dúnaibh (2nd Place)
Creevey NS (3rd Place)
The winning Kilmacrennan NS team of Dáire Faulkner, Seán Faulkner, Faolán McGrenra, Donagh Doherty along with their principal John Devenney were presented with their prizes on the night.
A final note of appreciation to the sponsors, namely Donegal CC; Brian O’Donnell RS Officer; Donegal Motor Club and the Mt Errigal Hotel for providing the venue.
