There will be a mix of sunny spells and showers across Ulster today, according to Met Éireann.

Some of the showers, however, will be heavy or prolonged with the chance of isolated thunderstorms later.

Highest temperatures 11 or 12 degrees in fresh and gusty southerly winds with the potential for wave overtopping around high tide.

It will be breezy tonight with showers, mainly becoming confined to coasts later. Lowest temperatures 4 or 5 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty southwest winds.
