Almost 200 properties will remain without electricity until tomorrow afternoon (Sunday) following an unplanned outage in the Cullion/New Mills/Glenswilly area this Saturday evening.

The power cut was reported shortly after 8pm, originally affecting 913 customers.

ESB networks restored power to the majority of customers after 9pm. However, an estimated 178 properties may remain without supply until 4pm tomorrow.

“We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible,” a statement said.
