Substantial sum of money stolen in Muff robbery

Thieves made off with a substantial sum of money after they raided a private residence in Muff at the weekend.

The incident happened at around 4.30am on Sunday, March 26th when entry was gained to a private dwelling at Kilderry Lane through a downstairs window.

A safe containing a substantial sum of money was stolen.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around that time to contact the gardai in Buncrana on 074 93 20540.

Anyone traveling in the area at that time who has dashcam footage that may assist in the investigation are asked to make it available to the gardaí.
