A select number of main roads across Donegal are to be gritted tomorrow morning (Sunday).
Met Eireann is forecasting that temperatures could dip to freezing with a slight frost possible.
The forecast says: “Early tonight, rain will become confined to east Ulster where it will gradually die out overnight. Dry and mostly clear elsewhere. A slight frost in parts with lowest temperatures of 0 to 3 degrees, not as cold in east Ulster under cloudier skies with lows of 4 to 7 degrees.”
The following routes will be gritted from 6AM on Sun. 02/03:
- 01: National Primary North
- 02: National Primary Central
- 03: National Primary South
- 09: Cill Ulta East
- 12: Binswilly
- 13: Stranorlar North
- 14: Stranorlar East
- 15: Stranorlar West
- 17: Donegal North
- 18: Donegal South
- LT: Letterkenny Town
