Donegal company Fruit of the Loom require Finance Assistant and Operational Finance Analyst

Fruit of the Loom, based at Lisfannon in Buncrana, now has two positions to fill – Finance Assistant and also Operational Finance Analyst.

The following are the details for each post.

Finance Assistant 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance-Team in their monthly routines
  • Manage the creditors ledger
  • Prepare reporting and compile data (Bank Recs, Cashflow, Month end schedules, etc..)
  • Assist in month end closing and the annual budgeting process
  • Provide administrative support

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Basic Finance knowledge
  • Good MS Office/Excel skills required
  • Attention to detail and a preference for working with numbers are key 
  • Motivated and well organized

Position Type:  full time & permanent
Schedule:

Operational Finance Analyst

Your key responsibilities

  • responsible for all financial aspects of the sourcing trade and manufacturing operations
  • annual budget preparations of overheads and standard cost setting
  • approving of all sourcing payments
  • control sourcing cash forecasts
  • assist in annual audits and in manufacturing-/inventory budget processes
  • analyse sourced goods and prepare monthly reports

What you’ll need to succeed

  • several years of practical experience in a finance department
  • Very good Excel skills required
  • Attention to detail and a preference for working with numbers are key
  • Knowledge of Oracle is a plus
  • Motivated and well organised
  • Good communication skills as dealing with all levels of the organisation and external auditors / suppliers, on a day to day basis 
  • Some travel may be required
