Man recovering in Letterkenny Hospital after serious assault

A man in his 20s has been admitted to Letterkenny University Hospital after he was attacked in Glencolmcille.

The incident happened yesterday evening around 8.30pm.

The victim is understood to have received serious injuries.

Gardai have confirmed the incident is being investigated.
