It will be a sunny but cold start to the day with frost in some parts of Ulster.

The cloud will gradually build, however, with a few scattered showers developing. Highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees are forecast, according to Met Éireann.

Tonight, there will be patchy outbreaks of drizzle and mist which will move up across much of the southern half of the country. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees, coldest further north with a touch of frost. Easterly breezes will be just light.
