Gardaí are investigating a hit and run that took place on the Dual Carriageway outside Letterkenny last week.

The incident took place at the Trimragh Junction last Tuesday at around 9pm.

It involved a collision between a grey Vauxhall Corsa and a blue BMW. However, the driver and passenger of the BMW, a man and a woman, left the scene and made off on foot in the direction of Manor roundabout.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information, or who have dash cam footage, to contact them in Letterkenny on 074-9153060 or the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.
