Creeslough Community Association is a village development group with a focus on village regeneration. It facilitates investment from a number of organisations into community programmes across the village and its environs. CCA has a decade of experience enabling successful partnerships between businesses and communities.

We are now inviting applications for the position of Community Links Manager.

The role is full-time, 5 days per week (40 hours). This is a fixed term contract that is expected to continue for three years (subject to ongoing funding).  The postholder will work closely with the Board of CCA and the role will be based in Creeslough. Three years’ work experience in Community Development is required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the planning, design and implementation of projects that improve the Creeslough community through the Creeslough Together Initiative (CTI). They will work collaboratively with local governments and non-profit organisations to coordinate efforts related to economic development. The postholder will also be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, including managing staff, developing new initiatives, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Please note that Donegal Local Development CLG (DLDC) is assisting with recruitment and selection procedures for the role.  It’s important to clarify that DLDC is not the employer, but rather providing support in this process.

To apply for the position, please submit by email a Letter of Application outlining how you meet the criteria, together with current Curriculum Vitae to:  Human Resources at vacancies@dldc.org

Applications to arrive no later than 12 noon, Friday 12th May 2023.  Job Descriptions are available from vacancies@dldc.org  and also on the DLDC website www.dldc.org  Interviews are likely to take place week beginning 22nd May 2023.  CCA reserve the right to enhance the shortlisting criteria.  A panel may be formed from which similar vacancies may be filled.
