Three dead and four hospitalised in Aughnacloy road tragedy

Three people have died following a horror crash early this morning near Aughnacloy in Co Tyrone. 

Four other casualties have been taken to hospital.

The multi-vehicle crash occurred on the A5 Tullyvar Road in Aughnacloy at about 07:19am.

The crash involved at least one lorry and a minibus, according to local reports. Six ambulances and other emergency services were called to the scene.

The road is closed in both directions and police are asking motorists to avoid the area.
