A Public Information Day on the Preferred Option for Na Dúnaibh Flood Relief Scheme will take place on 11th May 2023 in Mevagh Family Resource Centre, Downings.  The drop-in event will run from 4pm until 8pm.

Members of the project team (from Donegal County Council, the Office of Public Works and consultants, RPS) will be available to present the Preferred Option and to let people know how their submissions made during the first Public Consultation have been considered.

This will be an opportunity for the public to view the option before it goes to the statutory planning process.  Attendees can discuss the option with the project team and provide feedback.

Anyone with an interest in the Flood Relief Scheme is encouraged to come along anytime between 4pm and 8pm, this is a drop in event, no appointment is necessary.

A leaflet on the Public Information Day is now available at News – Downings FRS (countydonegalfrs.ie).  Details on the Preferred Option for the Flood Relief Scheme will also be available on the website from 11th May 2023.

Scéim Faoisimh Tuilte na nDúnaibh– Lá Poiblí Eolais maidir leis an Rogha is Fearr

Beidh Lá Poiblí Eolais ar siúl maidir leis an Rogha is Fearr do Scéim Faoisimh Tuilte na nDúnaibh ar an 11 Bealtaine 2023 in Ionad Acmhainne Teaghlaigh Mhíobhaí, na Dúnaibh. Beidh an t-imeacht buail isteach ar siúl ó 4pm go dtí 8pm.

Beidh baill d’fhoireann an tionscadail (ó Chomhairle Contae Dhún na nGall, Oifig na nOibreacha Poiblí agus comhairleoirí le RPS) ar fáil leis an Rogha is Fearr a chur i láthair agus lena chur in iúl do dhaoine cad é mar a glacadh san áireamh na haighneachtaí a rinne siad sa chéad Chomhairliúchán Poiblí. Beidh deis anseo ag an phobal amharc ar an rogha sula rachaidh sé ar aghaidh chuig an phróiseas pleanála reachtúil. Moltar d’éinne a bhfuil suim acu sa Scéim Faoisimh Tuilte bualadh isteach am ar bith idir 4pm agus 8pm. Is imeacht buail isteach é seo agus níl aon ghá le coinne a dhéanamh.

Tá bileog maidir leis an Lá Poiblí Eolais ar fáil anois ag SFT na nDúnaibh. Beidh sonraí maidir leis an Rogha is Fearr don Scéim Faoisimh Tuilte ar fáil ar an suíomh idirlín ón 11 Bealtaine 2023.
