Rocker Bruce Springsteen surprised fellow music legend Shane MacGowan when he paid him a visit in Dublin yesterday.
The musicians shared a wonderful time in McGowan’s home, which was captured on camera by Shane’s wife Victoria Mary Clarke.
Ms Clarke described Springsteen as a “total genius”.
“What an amazing honour and a beautiful experience to get a visit from The Boss,” she said.
MacGowan, 65, has been in and out of hospital for medical care in recent years. He now requires full-time care.
Fans were delighted to see Springsteen taking time out of prepping for his triple header in the RDS to visit his friend. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band take to the RDS Arena stage for three dates on May 5, 7 and 9. Fans can expect up to three hours of hits from the 73-year-old superstar.
