An uplifting spring serenade concert is coming to Ards this weekend in support of three of the agencies who responded to the Creeslough tragedy.
The Sperrin Choir, based in Mid-Ulster, are making their first trip in several years to County Donegal on Saturday 13th May at 8.30pm.
The 50-person choir will perform ‘A Journey Through the Musicals’ at the Ards Friary Retreat Centre.
All proceeds from the concert will go to Critical EMR, SARDA Ireland North and K-9 Search and Rescue, who were among the organisations who responded to the Creeslough tragedy in October.
With the wonderful piano accompaniment of Gail Evans, the audience can look forward to some old favourites, pieces from Guys and Dolls, The Sound of Music, A Chorus Line and others, as well as some more recent pieces from The Greatest Showman, Dear Evan Hansen, Rent among others.
Tickets are available here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/601536260147 or at locations in Ards Friary and St Michael’s Church, Creeslough and in Arnold’s Hotel and Holy Trinity Church, Dunfanaghy.
