A new Linear Park is set to open in Letterkenny within weeks.

Construction is almost complete on the scheme, which is located beside the Letterkenny Public Services Centre and the Neil T Blaney Road.

The recreational park is the first phase of the greater LK Green Connect scheme, providing new footpath and cycleway infrastructure in a landscaped environment.

It is anticipated that the park will be complete and opened in May.

Construction continues on Letterkenny Linear Park, as seen here from the Joe Bonnar Road

The LK Green Connect project aims to be the backbone of walking, cycling and public realm infrastructure in Letterkenny, connecting town centre destinations, giving options for how people move around and within the town centre and providing an exciting new experience in navigating the urban environment. The network will ultimately connect across a series of town centre destinations.
