Gardaí appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a crash in County Leitrim yesterday.
Guards were alerted to the crash on the R208 Drumcong to Ballinamore Road at Aghacashlaun shortly after 8:40am.
The motorcyclist, a man in his late 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
A technical examination of the scene was carried out by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to any road users with camera footage (including dashcam) who travelled on the R208 in the Drumcong area between 8pm on Thursday and 8:40am yesterday to contact them.
