People bathing in parts of Bundoran have been warned to be extra vigilant for rip currents today (Sun).
The warning was issued by community website Inform Bundoran.
The community-run site has warned the public that conditions on the main beach are dangerous today with high tide due at 1.29pm.
The site warns “There are enough waves today to create rip currents on the Great Northern side of the main beach.
“It is safer to use either of the outdoor pools or the pier to swim.”
The warning also reminds bathers that Donegal County Council lifeguards do not come on duty until June 1st.
