Gardaí are investigating two acts of criminal damage that occurred in a Dungloe housing estate.

The incidents, at Cois Locha, took place between 6pm last Tuesday and 10am on Thursday, May 11. Damage was caused to the door handle at the community centre in the area, however, no access was gained to the building.

Meanwhile, a resident in the estate heard a bang during the night. In the morning, they then discovered that a small hole had been made in their front door. Again, no access

was not gained to the property. The second incident occurred between 11pm on Wednesday and 7am on Thursday, May 11.

“We are appealing to anybody who may have observed any sort of suspicious activity in that general area between Tuesday May 9 th and Thursday May 11 th to make contact,” Garda Gráinne Doherty said.

Anyone with information should get in contact with Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060 or the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.
