Letterkenny podcasters bring their show to the big screen!

Two Letterkenny men who are making waves with a podcast have revealed plans for a new live show at Century Cinemas on 12th June.

The V&M Podcast is the creative venture of Vinny Mc Laughlin and Marty Brogan. Now with more than 20 episodes under their belts, they are hosting their first-ever show with a live audience.

The event is being supported by Century Cinemas Letterkenny who are opening up a VIP screen for an exclusive gathering.

Vinny and Marty have already confirmed two special guests – MMA fighter Jordan Furey and singer Matthew Crampsie – and there will be many more surprises in store.

Tickets will be limited to around 20 seats and will be given away free via contests in the coming weeks.

V&M podcast started as two lads having the craic in their living room, but in just a short time it has spread its wings into the community. Vinny and Marty get invites to record their show in local businesses and their guests get more varied as the weeks go by. Last week, for example, viewers got an insight into the work of Commissioner Of Oaths Declan Jordan.

“We are enjoying every minute of it,” Vinny says.

“While the podcast is growing, myself and Marty are growing with it. Looking back on our first episode we had the cheapest equipment, but now we’ve upgraded so much that it’s a real production and we’ve really worked on our interviewing skills.”

V&M podcast is now produced by Pauric McGranaghan from MG Media.

Despite the upgrades, the joking around hasn’t changed at all, and it’s hard to predict what the lads might come out with at any moment.

“We keep each other going with our jokes,” Vinny said. “At the show in June we are looking forward to bouncing off the crowd as much as we do each other. It’ll be like going to the cinema to see us.

“We can’t thank Century Cinemas enough for supporting us in taking on something so different and so new.”

Vinny and Marty may be on a wave of success, but they’re showing no signs of slowing down. More skits, more venues and more amazing guests are in the pipeline in the months to come.
