SFAI Interleague u15 Bowl Final
Donegal 4 Galway 1
Three early goals saw Donegal comfortably home against a young Galway side.
Thomas Carr headed in a Peter Sweeney corner on two minutes. It was 2-0 on ten minutes when Brian Mc Fadden headed in an Evan Hickey cross.
Minutes later Donegal got a third when Peter Sweeney’s cross was deflected in by a defender. Galway played some neat football without really threatening. Callum Long had couple of good runs from fullback, shooting just over, and causing havoc in the Galway defence with another. The game got scrappy with numerous substitutions but Galway pulled one back on sixty five minutes when Tomiwa Lofinmakin seized on a defensive error.
Oisin Ebbs then had a good effort saved by the keeper. Donegal finished the scoring in injury time when Thomas Carr headed in another Peter Sweeney corner. In a good all-round team performance Thomas Carr was awarded man of the match.
