Brand new Foróige premises to open in Letterkenny

Minister of State James Browne will tomorrow launch the newly expanded Foróige Donegal Youth Diversion Project and opening of their Letterkenny premises.

In 2021, the Donegal Youth Diversion Project received a once-off grant for a new premises as part of the expansion of YDP services objective under the Youth Justice Strategy 2021-2027.

Further funding was granted in early 2023 to complete renovation work on the new premises in Letterkenny which will be officially opened by Minister of State James Browne . The new premises in Letterkenny is a further step in providing essential services for Donegal.

Minister for Agriculture Charlie McConalogue TD, local Gardaí and public representatives will also be attending to meet the project staff and local community to discuss the important work of the project in ensuring young people get the support they need to stay in the right life path.

The launch will take place at 12pm on the 26th May at Spencer House, High Road, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.
